Lead and call tracking | Tilton, NH

Lead and Call Tracking for Websites in Tilton, NH

Know exactly what your website earns.

Ask most small business owners how many calls their website produced last month and they’ll guess. My clients don’t have to. Every site I manage logs each call tap and form lead with the page it came from and the source that sent it.

Tracked on every site I manage

  • Call taps, by page and by button
  • Form leads, with where they came from
  • The searches behind organic Google leads
  • Which towns and services leads ask about
  • Forms people started but didn’t finish

Why traffic reports aren’t enough

Visitors don’t pay the bills. Calls do.

A typical website report says you had 600 visitors last month. It can’t tell you whether any of them called, which page convinced them, or whether that Facebook ad did anything at all.

So I built my own tracking and run it on the sites I manage. When a lead comes in, it arrives with context: where they came from, what they looked at, and how many times they visited before they reached out.

That turns your website from a monthly expense into something you can measure like any other part of your business.

What gets tracked

Every lead, with the story behind it

All of it is built into the websites I manage.

Call taps

Every tap on your phone number is logged with the page and the spot on the page: header, sticky call bar, footer or an in-page button.

Form leads

Each form submission is logged with its source. Every notification email is logged too, so a broken form gets caught in days instead of months.

Lead source

Google organic, your Google Business Profile, Facebook posts, paid ads or someone typing your address. Paid and unpaid Facebook traffic are kept separate.

Searches behind the page

For leads from Google, you see the searches that page ranks for, pulled from your Search Console data. That shows which keywords turn into work.

Visit trail

How many visits, over how many days, and how many pages someone looked at before contacting you. Big jobs usually take more than one visit.

Abandoned forms

When someone starts your form and quits, you see which field they stopped at. Never what they typed. That tells you when a form is asking too much.

What you do with it

Spend money where the calls come from

Tracking is only useful if it changes decisions. Here are the kinds of questions my clients can finally answer:

  • Is the Facebook ad producing leads, or just likes?
  • Which service page brings in the jobs worth having?
  • Are people calling from the sticky bar on their phones?
  • Which towns send leads, and which need more work?
  • Did last month’s SEO work show up as more calls?

Honest by design

  • My own test calls and forms are excluded automatically
  • Abandoned forms record the field, never the content
  • Your Google accounts stay in your name
  • Numbers come straight from your own website
  • Good month or bad, you get the real numbers

Questions

Questions about lead and call tracking

No. It logs the tap on your phone number from your website, including which page and which button, but never the conversation. Someone who dials your number from memory or a truck door won’t show up, so the tracking counts website calls, not every call.

Calls placed straight from your Google profile never touch your website, so Google counts them separately in your profile’s performance data. I review those numbers with you alongside the website leads.

The tracking is built into the WordPress sites I build and manage. If your site runs on something else, we can talk about what it would take to move it and whether that makes sense for your business.

Yes. The tracking records behavior on your site, like pages viewed and buttons tapped. If someone abandons a form, it records which field they stopped at, never what they typed.

No. Test calls and form submissions from Web Smart Advisors are logged but automatically left out of your lead counts, so the numbers you see are real customers.

No. Lead notifications still come to your inbox as they always have. When you want the bigger picture, ask and I’ll walk you through it. A written monthly report is available as an add-on.
